Call For Opinion : Should offence under 498A of IPC be made bailable?

Recently India has seen a large increase in fake allegations of "domestic violence"  and Sec. 498A  of IPC. Due this increase there are several questions arising on investigations and many other thing. One of such questions is should offence under 498A of IPC be made bailable?
Right now the offence is non-bailable, that means the accused is required to go to the court for bail, which can result into humiliation and mental agony. An amendment of this section can help in case of fake allegations.
And one more thing to add is that if husband or his family members are arrested in any such offence reconciliation between them becomes almost impossible.
But what if the complaint is true and  the person arrested is truly guilty? If the section becomes bailable and they get back and do the same thing? What measure should be taken?
